Some of my interests, very roughly ordered by experience (higher to lower), include:
- Safety, governance, and technical alignment of AI systems
- Computer science and software engineering (software tooling and open-source ecosystems, ML algorithms, and hobby interests in functional programming and algorithm theory)
- Design and governance of public infrastructure (transportation, urban planning)
- Linguistics (phonetics, philology, etc.)
A few hobbies:
- Animal rights advocacy
- Running
- Vegan cooking and baking
- Open-source software contributions
I was last based in Zürich, Switzerland, where I studied computational neuroscience at the ETH Zürich/University of Zürich.
